Thanks for your response, sorry I did not reply sooner, today was a rough one. I started the day by taking some notes about her naps. and by the end of the day that all went to heck. But anyways, on a "typical" day (when DD is cooperating with nap time) this is what our schedule looks like (these times are all give or take 15-20min and varies day to day depending on what time she wakes up)
Wake up @7am
E: 7am
A:7-8:30
S: 8:30-10
E: 10
A:10-11:30
S:11:30-1:00
E:1:00
A:1-2:30
S: 2:30-4
E: 4
A:4-5
S: Catnap 5-6
E: 6
A: 6-7 (bath, get ready for bed)
S: 7-10:30pm (dream feed at 10:30)
E: 4:30am
S:4:45-7am
Now some days activity times are only an hour and sometimes she naps 1.45-2hr and that adjusts the schedule, but for the most part this schedule is (was) the average, until a few days ago when everything started going haywire. I am not sure if she is overtired, undertired, overstimulated, hungry, or something else. Another theory I have has to do with the gosh-darn pacifier. She was doing well with only needing it to fall asleep, it would fall out, and she would be fine the rest of the nap. Well, my in-laws came to town and sometimes when we were out and about and she needed to nap, my mother in law would hold her AND hold the pacifier in her mouth or be there to put in back in when it fell out. Now it seems that if/when her paci falls out she wakes up, or she wakes up and realizes it's not there and starts screaming. I don't even know where to start to start getting her not dependent on the pacifier.
To answer your other questions:
Yes, she sleeps independently, in her own crib in her own room.
To resettle her, I feel like I've tried anything and everything. Shh/pat, singing, rocking, walking. Since the beginning I feel like I really have not had much luck with the ssh/pat. Lately it just seems like she is REALLY hard to get resettled (squirmy, arching back, kicking legs, fighting her swaddle)
I would say that this new napping trend has been going on for about 5 or 6 days now.
She was eating well, but today I felt like she was not nursing as long as normal and was also fussing a lot during her feeds. She a 7oz bottle dream feed last night though.
So, to make a long story even longer, hope that information helps and any insights you may have will be much much appreciated!!
