still asleep at 8.10am! Am thinking no nap and an 11 hour day today may be possible for the first time in his life.....I know this is because of the NW though. Downside is his sunshine only lasts for an hour so will not be up when he wakes - will have to do some clever explaining.!
Shivi - does emma not usually nap now?

Becky, we went cold turkey on the nap around 24 mths,  she was up singing till 10pm in the cots some nights with only a 45 min nap. We have had to add in the odd car nap or short cot nap from time to time when teething or OT creeps in but usually when I put her in the cot at 1pm she's still singing or playing till 2 and only then passes out....so its not worth it. Car or buggy naps on the go work much better here....

Emma is on the low end of sleep needs anyway - did the 2:1 at 9.5-10mths, dropped the CN very early as well....but like I say, she's one of those who even if low SN during the day, she can usually tag it on. I think she would have slept longer this morning only her brother (who's now caught up on HIS OTness after a 12 hr night night before last and a usual 10.5 or 11 last night) turned on Cbeebies full volume at 7.30am.....

Still working on Oscar at well past 5 in terms of catching up and OTness....gets a bit boring and same old, same old 5 yrs in I tell you ;-)

Hugs and you're doing great!

well it is now 8.30am so I am going to wake him seeing as he has never slept past 7.30am in his life! I guess no nap today and 7.30pm bedtime - does that sound ok ladies or would you do earlier?

Great news Becky!!

If you woke him at 8.30am then I would be aiming to have him asleep by 7/7.30pm depending on how well he handles the rest of the day.
