Waking/screaming when coming down with cold?
« on: October 10, 2011, 14:15:32 pm »
Our LO is 13.5 months old. Last night was very rough. She woke up every 5-10 minutes since 11am until 1am and then from 4:30 until 6am. We know how she is when she is teething so that is ruled out (she has 7 teeth). The only other time she has done this is when she is a day or two away from showing symptoms of a virus.

Does anyone have a little one that does this? This is not something her bigger sister did...she would just sleep more soundly when coming down with something.

Oh dear, that is not fun for anyone. Sounds like it could be an ear infection; LOs often dislike laying down when they have one. You could try elevating the cot mattress, using infant paracetemol & taking her to the Dr ASAP! :) we have made it through many ear infections here with these tricks.

My DD2 does this when she is constipated (she has a sensitive gut) COuld it be that? Does she seem in pain?
