I wouldn't add any more water than you are. I agree with PP that you should take her back to see the Dr.

I would try putting her in a warm bath with water up to her belly button... rub her belly in a clockwise direction... this will help relax the muscles that she needs to poop ;)

This is a great link :)

Remember that not pooping even when they are straining doesn't always mean that they are constipated... dry and hard poops does.  If she doesn't go for a few days, but when she does go it is soft - she isn't constipated :)

Right.  thanks.  I just dread the hard poop even though it hasn't come yet.
Kara, have you tried the brown sugar or corn syrup?

how much brown sugar did you add?  So far I'm making 3oz bottles.  Should I add .5tsp?  more? less?

This is from that link :)

Add 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar (the one used for cooking) to 1 oz of cooled boiled water. Offer this to your baby 3 times a day, directly before formula feeds, until his poop is soft and then stop.

*Although brown sugar is recommended because it contains molasses, white sugar would do.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Don't add the sugar to the regular bottle - baby may then only want bottles with sugar in them... give a separate bottle with 1 oz of water with 1/2 tsp sugar...  as above.
