LOL Katy, I know what you mean.  I have a lovely nursing cover and James is insistent on pulling it off while he nurses.

Tecike, what you get when you pump is by no means indicative of your supply, it only indicates how much you can pump.  Some ladies get more when they pump, some ladies who have a great supply can't get anything.  Like Katy said, as long as you're getting the wet diapers, your supply is fine.  For pumping, I always found pumping halfway between my two morning feeds would get me the best output.  If he is a one sided feeder, you can also always pump the other side while he nurses.

That's exactly what I did, Erin! :) He is a one side feeder, and I pumped from the other breast, too... this way I got about 3 oz....and I offered it after bath time - well, he mostly played with the bottle, but managed to get down almost 1 oz!!! I think it a good start, so we'll keep trying today! :)

Though the output with pumping wasn't the best, I still think my supply is all right... I mean, he did last 3.5 hrs between feeds, and today, I'm going start stretching the first cycle to 4 hrs and we'll see about it...

Haven't checked back in a while.  "Rugby" position is also sometimes called "football" position in the US.  Baby is under your arm, with feet behind you, head toward the centerline of your body.  This was helpful for us in reducing distraction, also to keep the head a bit more elevated for combatting oversupply/mild reflux.

Thanks!
I'll try and change positions, but he's got a touchy side and doesn't reallt like changes. He's less distracted nowadays, so thankfully, boobs are all right and I', slowly starting him on solids, so I can stretch feedings closer to 4 hrs...
