Ok, our 22month old (today:) crawled out of her crib 3 times during nap time yesterday so we took the side down and turned it into a day bed. I am now on PUPD (really put her back in her bed) #86 of naptime today. When do I stop? My back is killing me and it has been 2hours now.

oh goodness you poor thing!
She is quite young to go into a BGB - did she actually climb out of the cot?
At her age I would be doing either WIWO or GW. If she has been sleep trained and is an independent sleeper then WIWO is what I would suggest.
Having said that it is a big change for a lo. I would make sure that you spend plenty of time talking about what a big girl she is, making it a special place for her etc. When i transitioned my lo I bought him a new soft toy.

That is young to make the switch to BGB, you've got yourself a little acrobat! Have you tried putting a sleep sack on her, it will prevent her from being able to swing her leg over the side of the crib, and hopefully stop the climbing out.
