Help! Advice on today's EASY!
« on: January 08, 2012, 09:14:32 am »
We have been getting some nap refusals recently (nearly 2 yo). Yesterday we had another nap refusal, party in the afternoon and a BT of 7.30 pm. We all had a lie in today till 8am, nice but was aiming to wake him at 7 so he was tired enough for nap!

So now I am wondering what on earth to do about a nap today!

WWYD?

Hi, yes I was thinking that but it is winter here and weather not ideal for getting out - and it is a sunday and so a lot of indoor things closed! Need to go to supermarket so was going to take DS and then stop at park on the way back. Was wondering though if he is that unlikley to take a nap (we feel VERY unlikely!) should I wear him out or just keep whole day low key and go for early BT?

Hmmm it's a tough one as that would be 2 days in a row no nap...Would he sleep in the car coming back from super market? Let him have 20/30 mins?
Blessed mum to two home-birthed darling water babies

hey you with the pretty face, welcome to the human race

Thanks for your replies this morning  :-*

Forgot to mention that he did have about 15 mins sleep in the car on the way to the party yesterday.

So I took him to the park for 45 mins exercise. After 5.5 hrs A time took him upstairs but no chance of a nap. Not tired in the slightest. I, on the other hand, could hardly keep my eyes open - what is that all about? lol

DH has taken him you in the car now as Olly's grandpraents are due for the afternoon and he needs a nap to get through all that excitement!

QUESTION - should I wake him up at 7am for the time being till we get through this regression and hope for a nap or should I let him catch up and wake up when he is ready?
