When is a nap TOO long?
« on: January 02, 2012, 22:59:10 pm »
Im trying to get LO into the EASY routine..this is our first official day of it...what is TOO long for a 2 month old to nap...like today I got her to sleep this morning..she woke up about 20 mins in..and then got her back to sleep and she slept for a good 90 mins or so...then second time she went down...woke up again about 30 mins in...and was hungry because it took so long to get her to sleep so I fed her and she went back to sleep....and hasnt woken up since...so what is TOO long for a nap?  since she didnt get good naps earlier I dont want to wake her up and mess up her sleep but also dont want to let her sleep forever...

At this age I tended not to wake especially if naps were all disjointed! I would wake if she's goes an hour over her next feed time though.  That was how I tended to gauge it. You don't want them missing daytime feeds as they might start waking in the night for them!
