Babies wanting more...
« on: February 14, 2012, 19:40:03 pm »
My 4 month old girls are currently on a 4 hour easy with no df. They are drinking 8oz per feed.  I believe they are needing more and was wondering how I should go about it.  Should I increase there bottles to 9oz or try and give them an extra few oz around 5pm? The df has never worked out for us and I am not going to start that now, as well they do there nights so I am trying to get the extra calories in during the day.

would love your input.

They have started to wake up around 5:45 - 6:30 am , I am guessing its because they do not have enough calories to sustain them?

Thx.

I would increase their bottles and see if you can fit a cluster feed in at bedtime, so maybe before you start the bedtime routine and then last thing. They could be going through the 4 month growth spurt so it may tail off in a few days.

HTH!
