6mo night waking soaking wet

Our 6 mo has slept through since about 6 weeks except for a few weeks of growth spurts. Now the last couple of weeks since he has started rolling over in the cot he now sleeps on his tummy, this is fine as he can roll both ways with no problems. However he has been waking up between 4-5am soaked through from his nappy so by the time we have stripped him off and changed him completely he is wide awake thinking its the morning expecting a feed and a play!
We have tried Tesco nappies and pampers nappies and neither seem to be any better

Someone once suggested two nappies - poke some holes in the outer layer of the inside nappy so the liquid can go through to the second one...

Have you tried a size bigger? I use Huggies Overnights, not sure if you can get those where you are, and often go up a size if my LO is getting close to the weight limit. I've also heard of Bec's suggestion, but the Huggies work here so haven't tried it.

We've always had this problem as DS is a tummy sleeper. Going a size bigger, as Katie suggested, has always helped here to a certain extent.

Thanks, someone has just given me a nappy the size up to try so will see how thst goes!

So we went up another size and it seems to have worked. He has been dry 2 nights running! Thanks for ur advice Xx
