shh pat at naptime
« on: October 23, 2012, 14:54:41 pm »
After many false starts I am ready to do Shhh/Pat consistently.  The few times I've tried it seems like my 3 month old would jus get more and more worked up.  How long should I do it?  It seems like too long and i'm nearing the next E.  What if he never falls asleep?  Doesn't that just start the OT cycle?  FYI...He's used to taking ALL naps on me in a wrap.

Hi :)

have you read this sticky on shh/pat? from 2 to 1 nap - how, when and the bumps

What's your EASY looking like? Shh/pat will work best if LO isn't UT or OT - generally at 3 months you should be aiming for A times of about 1hr20-30.
