Hmm. Was the night the same length?

There's a big development leap around 12 months too...

Ok, now you mention it he had 11hr30 night last night compared to 10hr30 the last few days! We put him to bed at 1800 because he only had the one nap yesterday and even that was after a 5hr15A! He woke at 0440 but was back asleep at 0510 after a bottle. He then WU at 0600.

So what shall I do from here? His nights are always varied. We always aim for 1900 BT but it depends how the naps have gone and WU time.

Thanks
Samantha

Sorry hun, no internet at home atm ::)

Does he usually tack on to his nights? I'm wondering if you get a long night (11 hours +) you should be putting down after 4hr30 and shooting for a one nap day with EBT (you can always offer a short catnap if that nap goes pear-shaped). If the night is shorter, perhaps a two nap day, and alternate for a bit. What do you think?

That sounds like a really good idea. He does usually tack on nights so that may work well.

If he doesn't have the long night (less than 11hrs) what time should I be aiming for around 4hrs maybe?

Thanks
Samantha

That sounds about right. And you might even be able to do 4hr45 after a good night, see how he goes.
