Good transitioner or tempting fate?
« on: November 09, 2012, 22:41:23 pm »
DS is 3.5 months old, and most nights he sleeps in his crib. He does nap with me during the day, and usually one day a week he sleeps with me and DH. We never have any problems with him refusing to sleep in his bed (he actually seems to prefer his crib over sleeping with the two of us). Does anyone else have a LO that goes back and forth without a problem, or are we going to end up having to bed share?

I told DH that I don't like him sleeping with the two of us because I don't get any sleep that way, so night sharing should stop. But I do enjoy napping with Booga when he and I have our own side and I don't have to worry about rolling on him or something.

I did. But now he is 15mo we seem to be in a habit of him waking about 5am and wanting to BF and then stay in my bed. I do wish I had nipped it in the bud as I now face the prospect of weaning it. Not looking forward to that. He will go to bed in his cot independently for his nap and BT still.

I assume you know co-sleeping is discouraged by SIDS recs but thought I would mention it in case anyone reading this was unaware.
