My LO had mucous in his poop...it was thick and slime like...my doctor was able to test the poop and it showed he had trace blood in his still which is a sign of intolerance. I cut out dairy and nuts...it took about 4-6 weeks but eventually it tested without having the trace blood...maybe your doctor can do that?

Thanks Vanessa. I'm doubtful our pediatrician would do that but we are seeing a pediatric GI doc Jan 15th. I'll be sure to collect a diaper to take (I'm guessing closer to the time! Can't imagine holding onto a poo diaper for over 2 weeks!!)
Thanks for posting.

Yes...get a poo diaper before you leave. My appointment was in the morning so I put one from the night before in a ziploc bag...but I would take the most recent one so if he went in the morning again, I took that one. Good luck!
