Thanks for your support! I went to the reflux board and they are not sure it's reflux but perhaps a food intolerance or something. I just don't get why once she was able to nap for long stretches and now not. And now the NW's are back ever since the short naps started when we upped her A. Today she had a 20 minte CN. I kept her in the dark and nursed her but she kept waking at the 10 minute mark. So is that not super OT? I don't even know what to do about bt as she has been up since 5:06 but a very fitful last 30 mins of "nap". She's lying beside me total wired for sound.
Maybe I should back up my morning A instead of add to it since her morning sleep (5 am onward) is always so fitful?

Ok so after looking over all the logs I posted this is what I am thinking:
Her night runs from 6:30ish to the 5 am waking. After the 5 am waking her body thinks it's a nap. So when she has good naps days (2-3 good sleeps plus the time she sleeps from 5 am onward like a 5th nap or an extension of her am nap)she has short nights (7-5ish or 6:15-4:45)I end up putting her to bed (like today) at 6:15 and she was up at 6:45 am today.
I can't explain what I am thinking other than if she has a long night she surely has bad naps (UT). Even if it takes a while to settle her she is still "in bed" some nights for over 13 hrs. So the EW's aren't EW's just her being done sleeping over a 24 hour period. Does anyone else get what I am trying to say? So I spend all day trying to extend naps (which seem to be short no matter what A time I do). The short naps lead to short A times which lead to in bed early then I expect her to be in bed for 13 hours.
I am on to something here. Can anyone else see what I am on about? Lol. It's beginning to make perfect sense now.

Ok so bare with me here. This is what I mean
wake: 4:45 am. Back to sleep about 20 mins later until 6:06. Woke and rocked but was not in deep sleep from 6:15-6:30ish
nap 1 43 mins after lots of A time my DH put her down. Extended with nursing. She slept maybe another 45 mins
nap 2 40 mins after 1 hr 30extended another 20 mins
nap 3 30 mins after 1 hr 30 A ( was in car from 1 hour a)
nap 4 10 mins in car when I transferreed she slept another 20 mins then I nursed her down for another maybe 40 mins.
bed 6:20

So total day sleep if you count from 4:45 is about 5.5 I bet she wakes again tomorrow morning after 10-10.5 hr nightsleep.  Am I crazy for even trying to work this out?

If this is really what is happening, how do we fix it? Set a bedtime and naptimes? Move A out to 1 hr 45 or more and stick to it no matter what the outcome of the naps?
I feel like her days go around and around in circles and I go back and forth between oh she is so OT and she is UT hence the early wakes. She is just done sleeping for the night.

I honestly don't think she's chronically OT. I think it sounds like she needs LONGER A times (so yes, stick with the 1hr45, and only shorten a little after a short nap, be consistent for at least 4-5 days), BUT (and it's a big but) that there is some discomfort that is interfering with sleep too. Overall though, you can take comfort in the fact that she is getting a decent total amount of sleep in the end - it's just hard work for you right now :(

Hun, you're getting good support now from Sara and Elise over on CRC. I think you should explore their suggestions re intolerance/ perhaps trialing different reflux meds, and see if you can't get on top of whatever's troubling your LO, and then come back here. What do you think?

She was up every 2 hrs last night on the nose. She would wake and scream, I would nurse her and she would settle. My DH thinks teeth but I don't know. She woke for the day at 6:55 although I heard her much earlier. So we went with that time and did 1:45 A and she slept 34 mins. I resettled and she woke again after 10 mins and I managed to resettle and she's still sleeping.
So you think I should explore something bothering her? I just don't know anymore. I am so tired today.

:( Hugs to all three of you. Great that you could resettle her this morning - I hope that gave you a chance to have a nap yourself. Take every chance you can to rest when she is :-*

She was up every 2 hrs last night on the nose. She would wake and scream, I would nurse her and she would settle.

This does not sound normal to me, hun. If she were just OT, I would expect a couple of wakings before midnight - but not all night long.

My DH thinks teeth but I don't know.

Are there any other signs of teething?

So you think I should explore something bothering her?

I don't want it to sound like I don't want to help anymore - I really do, but I just feel like there's only so much the "standard" naps advice is going to help if there's something more going on. And I've had a look at your thread on CRC and it sounds like people with more experience than me think there IS more going on :-\

Is there anyone who can come and look after LO for a couple of hours to give you a break?

xx

So even though she only had 4 30-40 minute naps yesterday it wouldn't cause all night OT wakings? Even when OT she has woken at 11 and 2 or 3 but not all night.
I know how much you have helped me and I appreciate all your support. I wonder if we need to move to a 4 hour easy? How do we do that if she is short napping? Today she extended 2 times and got a total of 1 hour 20 so I didn't get to rest. She was tired again so we put her down at 1 hour 20. It's hard to extend her A if she is constantly short napping. I just feel like we are going in circles.
I will go over to the other board and start exploring other issues. My mom comes a few times a week and she is perplexed as I am. My dh doesn't care and thinks we should give her set nap times and bedtime and see where that takes us. He is fed up as we had the exact same issues with my DS. Exactly the same. Short naps, poor nights. Exhausted momma.

Just wanted to update. Naps are still 34-48 minutes long no matter the A time. But nights keep getting longer and longer. 6ish-7 and today 7:30. The longer the nights the shorter the naps. We can't seem to escape this. Yesterday after 2 hrs A she slept 35 mins and woke chatting. So the shorter the naps the earlier to bed and she sleeps til 7 (with 1-2 feeds)
