Help with 7 month old!
« on: January 14, 2013, 10:38:41 am »
hi, I'm confused reading the above (sorry!)

My Angel dd3 is 7 months old and I've started to increase her A time to 2.5hrs but everything has gone haywire, 2 NW, early wake ups (I bf to sleep for all of them).  her normal routine would be:
WU 7am
Nap 9.30
Awake 11.00
Nap 1.30pm
A sometimes 45 mins after or if not, I have to wake her at 2.45 to leave house to collect DD1&2 from school, normally home by 3.45pm.  This means her A is too long untill bedtime, and if i give a CN then her bedtime is too late!  I've tried to drop catnap and give EBT but then she wakes up several times too...
HELP!!!

This might be one of those that you just have to ride out :/ it's the plight of the younger sibling, naps have to fit around school runs etc.

How early can you do bedtime? If she wakes up at 2.45, can you do bedtime at 6pm?

Sometimes, but not always. If she's OT at bedtime it's definitely preferable to do an early night and most babies will tack on the missing daytime sleep and sleep longer at night.
