2 hours twice a day is fine.
Actually the better they sleep during the day, the better they sleep at night! So I'm learning. The main think Tracy says in her book is that you don't have a very long stretch, to make sure you never let them sleep through a daytime feed.
Also as far as waking up at night i read that if its at the same time every night it's likely just habitual waking and you can try to wean them from it by comforting them without food or giving them less every night. If it's erratic and at different times it's more likely that they are actually hungry. Different babies mature differently it could be he just still needs food? Do you dream feed? I want to start that but I'm so afraid to wake him. And do you Tank him up? Both suggestions to prevent night waking.
Below is a link to sample Routines for babies the same as yours and they all have 1.5 to 2 hour naps.
