« on: March 21, 2013, 15:42:17 pm »
Just a quickie!!
When trying to extend nap time (the dreaded 45mins) how long do you try and get them back to sleep before you call it a day??? Ive tried s/p but that seems to stress DD out (10 weeks) so i do shh with hand on chest, sometimes it works, most the time it doesnt but i dont know how long to do it for??
Any advice??
Thank you !!  :)

I never had the patience to try it for ages, so I used to give it 10-15 mins and I'd have a good idea in that time if they were going to go back over or not. After 10 mins if they weren't anywhere near settling, I'd call the nap done and get them up. Life's too short to spend it in a dark nursery with a crying baby.
