help to move to 4 hrly feeds
« on: May 02, 2013, 17:44:16 pm »
My daughter has been on a 2 hr EASY since about a month old. She's now 4 months old and is still eating every 2 hours (4 oz each). It is inconvenient, however it didn't worry me until she recently started refusing after 2 oz.

Any suggestions on transitioning? I don't even know where to begin...

Drag it out by ten mins between feeds for a few days then 20 then 30 etc while increasing amount in bottle. We're at 3.5 hourly at 18 weeks.

I would push her further personally.  Feed as much as she will take, then push an extra 30 mins (so 2.5 hrs)... you should be able to get her to 4 hrly within a couple of days.
