My son is 8 weeks old and I'm reading Tracy's book and following a pattern of EAS. He usually eats every 2.5 to 3 hours. He's been taking his last bottle some time between 730 and 9 (it varies depending on how long he goes between feedings - occasionally he takes longer napes) and then he usually wakes up early morning around 2, eats, and then easily goes back to sleep until about 6.

In five weeks, when he is 13 weeks, I will be going back to work - which is 45 to 60 minutes away - and he will be going to daycare near my office. We'll need to leave the house in the morning around 6:45 so his current 6 am wake up is actually pretty good and I would pick him up from daycare at the end of the day by 4:30. I'm concerned about timing his last afternoon feeding at daycare with his first feeding when we get back home. I'll want him to nap in the car too if possible.

I'm open to any suggestions to get us ready for this transition!

Hi and welcome to BW!
In the next 7 weeks your LO is going to change SO MUCH, you can't even imagine how much. So the way your day looks like today is not how it's going to look like in a few weeks time. It's very difficult theoretically to predict how his day is going to look like.
You could ask them to feed him at 16 and then feed him his BT bottle at around 19-19:30.
You can have a look here: chronological EASY samples, 0-3 months at how other babies EASY looks like when they are around 3m old.

^^ Agree.  He'll be almost twice as old when you go back to work, and his routine will be different.  If his feeding times still don't fall quite right for pick up and bedtime would you mind him snacking a bit?  So instead of full bottles he might take a few ounces just before he leaves daycare, a few more when you get home, and then his bedtime feed later?  Eating right before he leaves should help with napping in the car too, there's nothing worse than a hungry crying baby while you're driving and can't feed them!
It's a tough transition.  Not sure if you were asking about feeding specifically or more general advice, but I would say always get everything ready the night before!  I went back to work p/t when dd was 8 weeks old, and I found it hard enough getting my head in a work place and trying not to worry about dd that it made it much easier to just pick up and go in the morning without thinking about what I needed to take.
Good luck when you go back!
Emma

Thank you both! You're right - it's amazing how much he's changed in the past few weeks so I know more changes are ahead. I'll check out that site and keep in mind that snacking is an option - I'm trying to avoid a car ride with a hungry baby and a stressed mommy!
