Yay for milk!  If you're doing loads of leaking it might be worth thinking of getting some breast shells so you can collect the excess from the other side as you're feeding.  I'd get up to an ounce at a time just by feeding in the early days.

As for dignity, well, what's that then? :P ;) ;D

So when are you getting pain?  During or after feeding?  Or just all the time?

Just when she latches tbh. LC reckoned it might be
damage dome during day1-2,because she was happy
with the latch.

Yay for milk!  And some vibes for healing quickly...

Breast shells sound like an amazing idea!

sorry I've been off all week Happy xxx

Huge congrats on Happiette xxx
To get the hardness/lumpiness and pain down, do warm compresses before a feed (facecloths straight out of hot water) to get things flowing properly and then cold (ice cold if you can stand it - again it can be cold facecloths straight from the freezer) for as long as you can stand them straight after.

I adored that moment of putting the cool gel packs in my bra - ahhh the relief (also had the sanitary towel shaped ones for "down there" - so absolutely no dignity at all but ice really, really helps with swelling of every nature xxx)

Just keep an eye with the pain.  If it carries on for longer than a week or so you might need to get it checked out again.
