My DD is 6 months old and we are having a hard time sorting out her activity time. She is currently at 2hrs 45 minutes of activity time and the problem is some days it is perfect and she naps 1hr 40 min to 2 hrs and other days she wakes after 45 minutes. Increasing her activity time by 5 minutes gave me a 30 minute nap today. Should I hold it at 2hr 50 min for a few days and see what happens?

I'm only a FTM of a 6 week old, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I think you should try the 2h50 for at least 2 more days.

I'd agree, I wouldn't take what happened on one day as an indication of what she needs overall. It may just have been if she didn't nap well yesterday there was a bit of leftover OT. Normally when pushing A times you need to hold at the new time for a few days before re-assessing
