6-6 routine for 4 month old?
« on: June 02, 2014, 00:36:26 am »
Hello, I am new to the forum and will soon be transitioning back to work in a couple weeks when my LO is 4-months old. I unfortunately have to leave the house for a long commute at 6:30 AM. Ideally I would love for baby to be on a 7-7 schedule which is kind of where she is now, but I want to nurse her at 6:10am for 15-20 minutes before I have to leave. Right now although we are still working on the routine and schedule (she doesn't sleep more than 3 hours at a time at night! - that's another conversation)... I am just wondering if anyone has had luck with this type of schedule 6-6 and if there is a template already done? Thanks in advance!

6-6 is common with littlies I think :-\ well mine did it a bit anyway! but you may find your LO doesn't sleep 12 hrs at night and can even do 6.30/7-6 with 2-3 good naps.

Typically As times are around 2 hrs and they have 2 longer naps with a CN in the early evening so your EAS would be something like this
WU 6 and feed
Nap 8-10 at the latest. Wake and feed.
Nap 12-2 at the latest. Wake and feed
CN 4-4.30/45 and top up if need be :-\
BT routine and feed then
BT 6/6.30/7 (all depending on nap lengths and how much sleep your LO needs)

What do you think?
