We don't have a FAQ on distraction itself but these FAQs touch on it and have ideas that could be applied.
'How do I breastfeed a newborn with a toddler running around?'
Is my baby weaning or is it a nursing strike?
Where are you trying to feed? I found in the still dark bedroom while still sleepy straight after waking worked best.
What about a nurse ring necklace?

I know it has happened with the other boys as well, but it's always frustrating when they don't drink as long as they used to ykwim? I know with DS2 I took to feeding before naps, with a nappy change in between, as I wouldn't get a feed elsewhere. Lately it seems we're having lots of sips and not much in feeds...

um, maybe, but not showing anything typical of teething... did wake lots last night 'crying' for a change,as opposed to talking, and fed well... so he made up for it. might have to go to feeding before naps!

I feed Medi before her am nap. Sometimes before the second one too
. She just feeds better when it's her and I in the bedroom upstairs away from all the noise and excitement downstairs.

Thanks for your replies. What sort of bf feeds would you expect at 6.5m? 4 + df? We are doing some solids but not much yet.

4 or 5 in the day and 1-2 overnight. Some will be on less.
