34 month old EW
« on: May 12, 2014, 06:12:10 am »
Hi I'm just after some advice on my EWing lo. She's been gradually dropping her nap since December + I think it went completely about 6 weeks ago. She was having 12-12.5 hrs sleep at night + was managing fine but now I cant really get her to have 12 hrs or a nap unless she's in the car!
It started about 2 weeks after potty training as she's dry at night + waking early for a wee. The potty is in her room + we've been trying a gro clock. She quite happily goes back to bed but will not sleep! Even this morning she was awake at 5.15am with about 10hrs20mins sleep + didn't go back to sleep. I feel like she's just watching the clock waiting for morning! I've heard about lights on a timer not sure if that could work better. Hoping its just a phase + everything will go back to normal soon.
Last week she got more + more tired + grumpy as the week went on + fell asleep in the car at 11.45am one day. Not sure whether to go back to naps but I think she'll only nap in the car now.xx

Hi!

Not btdt on the nap front yet. R is the same age and is still napping though we do now cap at one hour. R has starting inexplicably cutting her NTS too - just wondering if it's a developmental / age thing?

Ps - Rs still in nappies at night

I seem to remember this with my eldest that he'd wake early for toilet and not go back to sleep! If I remember it levelled out quite quickly-less milk/water at BT EBT helped for us x

I was wondering if it was a development thing!
She does 2 wees before bed every night + only has about 1 ounce of milk before bed, think she's just waking early aware of needing a wee maybe. She's still in pull ups at night but can tell by morning she hasn't had a wee in it.xx
