How do you survive evening cluster feeds?
« on: July 31, 2014, 02:09:52 am »
Ds has always had his evening cluster feeds but these past few nights have been crazy. I have forceful let down. Normally it's not much of an issue as we have both learned to cope but when he clusters he will only be on for a few minutes and when he pulls off its like old faithful!!! Lol...it gets a little messy. Anyone have any tips or tricks?  Also any tips to make cluster feeding in general easier would be great. I usually just get cozy on our bed for a few hrs but it usually ends up chaotic with DD in and out, dh being overwhelmed and me feeling helpless and stressed being out of commission for those few hours.

Have you seen our FAQ on forceful let down? Lots of tip in there. Oversupply and Overactive (Forceful) Let-Down

Maybe catch the flow in a muslin you keep to hand to contain the mess.
