Easy for high weight baby

My baby is 12 weeks and weighs 7.5 KG
I'm trying to teach him EASY but it seems he is not hungry every 3 hours.
Reasons:
he sleeps short sleeps - all my attempts to get him back to sleep  unsuccessful rest of the time he manages just doze
cries while breastfeeding and not shows signs of hunger before
Is it because of the high weight may be that he is ready to EASY every 3.5 or 4 hours?

Hi, sorry you've had no replies as yet.

Your LO may well want to feed less often, that's not uncommon at all, but I'd suspect he'd struggle to handle the A times required for a 'standard' 3.5 or 4h EASY - which means you'll need to be a bit creative . Could you post a recent day or two including when you tried for naps, when he actually slept etc? 

Is he an independent sleeper yet?
