Well, no settling. We are all so confused by her recently. took a 2 hour nap yesterday am after 3.5 h A time, then a 30 min nap in the afternoon after 3.5 hours A. Today, a 45 min am nap after 3.5 h A time and a 30 min pm nap after a 3h A time. Just no clue. She seemed tired this morning but only slept 45 min and was perfectly awake until I put her down for her afternoon nap and started crying once in bed (so total A around 3h22min.) Not sure what to do... Maybe just a phase? Is in a Wonder week now and seems to be teething again... Was happy and smiling when i got her up from her short nap after trying to shush her.

Would set naps work at this age? The guess work and back and forth is killing all of us (me, hubbie and nanny)

Oh those wonder weeks can play havoc with sleep!

How was the night before both of these? When my O had a great night the night before (12hrs), then she would do her famous 45mins nap on the usual A time too. If it was more an 11hr night, the usual A time resulted in a 1.5hr nap.

I'm a big fan of set naps, especially when we were going through the 2-1 transition. You could try, but it's a case of finding the right A time first I would think. Maybe look at 3hrs 45mins A first thing then 3hrs 30mins for the second and usual A to BT. Wdyt? X

That does sound good, but everything is now wonky. She has been having NWs the last three nights as well. like 4 times last night, fed her once.  But her naps were better- 2 h am after 3.5 h A but then 30 min after 3 h A- too weird. Gonna try to just make it through this crazy time and then determine if we can ever get a consistent A vefore set naps-
Thank you again!
