DD has developed a fever this afternoon and just now 4.30pm fallen asleep on the sofa. Usual BT is 6.30pm. Let her sleep? Quick CN, wake for tea then usual BT?

I would do quick CN and then wake for BT. Guess she might not want to eat if she has a temp x

I know it's too late for tonight, but how did it go?  My DD always sleeps loads extra with a fever so I probably would've let her sleep from 4:30 either until she woke up, or wake her around 8ish, try a bit of food and then do BT.  When she's ill I find timings pretty much go out the window, and I've always hated doing CNs and waking after such a short time!  Anyway, just wondering how you got on and hope she feels better in the morning x

Thanks everyone.  I woke her after 20 mins and she managed to eat some tea, then did BT routine at usual time.  She was practically pushing us out of the door so she could go to sleep!  One NW (she heard a loud noise outside apparently) and then woke just before her usual getting up time.  Seems ok this morning so we'll see how the day goes x
