Slow cook all the way! DD still has issues with texture of some foods. I find for things like a chicken breast, if I'll boil it in some home made chicken stock for 20mims and it just falls apart, that works well for a quicker meal. Also, flaky fish goes down well here.. I just get some frozen cod fillets as I don't eat fish myself and bung that in the oven for 25mims or so and make a cheese sauce to go over the top. This is normally a winner too.
I'm doing pork today today.. Plan to slow cook in the oven as DH likes the crackling.. For me, I'd prefer to shove it in the slow cooker for 8hrs but hey ho
