So confused...10months.. 2:1, EMW :(

My DD went to 1 nap a month ago and finally started STTN after many NWs being on 2 naps but now its all went wrong again!

Shes went back to needing 2 naps last week- a quick 20mins in the morning and then a 2 hour in the afternoon which is fine BUT we are getting EW every single morning. Sometimes shes wakening at 3/4am and We are bringing her into bed with us and it takes her a while to go back over and then sure we are awake!

Is the quick catnap in the morning encouraging this or what do i do?

This morning she woke around 5am and she went back over around 5.30ish until 6.20am and shes currently having her 20mins at 8.30am?? (APOP in my arms)

I then usually go for her long nap at 12pm for 2 hours. Then BT at 7ish.
She goes to sleep herself with a dummy and she can replug!

How can i stop the EMW?

Can you not feed her back to sleep at 3-4am?

Shes not hungry! Shes just awake chatting and wanting to play!

If you leave her in her dark room (instead of bringing her in to you), will she not go back to sleep? It says when you bring her in to your bed she goes back over? It is pretty normal to have a chatty period in the very early morning - the key is to get them to learn to go back to sleep! So treat it just as you would a night waking at say 1am.

Nope she doesnt go back to sleep she shouts and shouts until we come in and we need to help her back to sleep!!
Im just wondering if the routine needs tweaked?

Her routine looks ok. I would do the am catnap later so as not to reinforce the EW.
