4 week old eating 4 hours apart
« on: July 18, 2015, 18:32:24 pm »
If I let my 4 week old daughter guide her day, she does a 4 hour EASY, but naps 2 to 3 hours for the two naps plus the catnap.  Is this okay for her age?  She is gaining weight and seems really happy.  Thank you in advance for your advice!

My DS was the same. He mostly ate every 3.5 - 4.5 hrs with long naps in between. Any sooner than that and he didn't eat well.

My four week old is doing the same, and at night is taking only 50mls each 5 hours or so! My maternal nurse says it's fine, let her sleep while she still will

Provided they're gaining the weight, its fine.
