Oops posted before I read reply. Thank u Kelly. So I will focus on those extending activities. It is funny. I never considered that he may be UT at first naps. I am probably just astounded that he shows tired signs so quickly after wake up but this may be accumulated OT right? I know what you mean about cues. That is why I think going by the clock may solve some issues instead of observing cues and then just see what happens x x

Its possibly just boredom or trying out those muscles. He knows he gets cuddles when he yawns, no? Could just be looking for that too. What is best i found was to watch the clock til 10min before you expect nap time then watch LO for cues to fine tune the timing.

Oh, and i think the walks to and from school fit in nicely, just pop him in the pram when you go in the morning. Then for the pm, have him out playing while DD is and then see if he will CN in the pram/a carrier (which would help i think with the OS) on the way home at 4:30.
