New day, new EASY?
« on: January 12, 2016, 07:34:39 am »
If my baby has fed early morning, say 5:30, would I continue the four hour EASY routine or when she wakes up at 8:00am feed her and start the EAS afresh for the day?

Mine has done just that and I will feed him when he wakes - otherwise days all go a bit wonky! Eventually I will aim to start days at roughly the same time each day, but he's still really little and I could do with the sleep right now.

Ah ok. I just re-start the routine. Luckily, she is waking up at 8am right now, so that is a little more time to have digested whatever she ate during the night.

If DD wakes less than 3hrs before 7am (our time to start the day) I only give her a half feed (1 side as she'll take both for her full feeds). This seems to be enough to resettle her but not too much to fill her up completely so she still takes her feed when she wakes so keeps us in routine.

Definitely go the time that 'really is morning' to you to start the day.  It's quite usual for babies of that age to wake/feed around that 5am mark but it's good to keep that as 'night time' if you can.  So 8 am, not 5! Definitely.
