Anyone doing/done Weight Watchers while they were breastfeeding?? I did it before I was PG and stopped, but want to get back into it since I was so successful before! Any advice onhow to make it work while I am breastfeeding?
Thanks!

Hi! I haven't done it while breastfeeding, but I remember reading in my manual that breastfeeding mothers need an additional number of points a day (10?). Good luck!

I've been doing it while bf. You get 10 extra points a day. I'm afraid to stop bf, I'll lose those points!
LOL!

Are you loosing at a good rate and has it affected your milk supply at all? Have you needed to cut out any of the milk or the veggies because of gas in your baby?? THANKS!!!

I did WW while nursing way back when...it really helped me lose the weight fast. The only thing I ate that gave Tyler gas was ice cream...and, um, I probably needed to cut that out anyway. Good luck@

I started WW at the beginning of January but I must admit I'm not eating my extra 10 points that you get when Bfeeding in hopes of losing more weight. However, I've lost about 5 lbs, and started my period a couple of days ago and my milk supply has really gone down. My son is 8 months so I don't know if it's mainly because of the period or if it's the diet or because he's only drinking milk 3 times a day. I noticed it mostly today when I pumped and got only 3 ounces when I usually get 6. What do you think? Is it too late to increase it again?
I really want to continue with BF.
