My eleven week old son cries everytime I try to put him down....wherever it is (swing, floor, bouncy seat, crib, etc).  He is only content when being held.  And, sleeping is another issue.  I have tried the pat/shush method, but all he does is scream and scream.  It ends up waking his two year old sister.  The only time he will stay asleep is when he is in his car seat.  Otherwise he is awake every 2 hours at night and only naps for about 15-20 min at a time during the day.  Any suggestions?!?!?

How is he eating?  The car seat thing makes me wonder reflux.

He seems to always be eating.  And, he spits up a lot.

Bop over to the reflux board.  There is a sticky on 'flux symptoms near the top of the list.  See if it sounds like your LO.  If that is the case, making him more comfortable will go a long way in fixing the sleep stuff.
