Why are you thinking that you perhaps should anyway?  It'll turn them into jam won't it?  I'd just slightly sweeten them if necessary with icing sugar

I would say no too, would you mush them up, or are they doing any finger food yet? We are at the 'only' finger food stage - grrrr ::)

i have cooked raspberries and it did turn out a little bit thicker but i 'watered' it down with bm which also added some sweetness and dd loved it!..

I will mush them up then!  I suppose a lot of their fruit can be raw now?  They're 8 months old!!! Crikey, where does the time go?
Clair, I haven't thought about finger foods - I'm too scared  ::)

finger foods - we are doing cheerios, cheese, i gave her cut up pieces of pasta...hmmm can't remember anything else at the moment although i know there has been more besides her 'cookies'....

Man, I know!! 8 whole months - crazy!!

Red is pretty much solely on finger foods as he won't eat mush!! I do try to sneak it in while he is eating his finger foods, but he looks at me with his lips clamped together and smiles and shakes his head!!!

He has cheese on toast, toast, pitta bread, fruits (grapes are his favourite!), potato smiles when Ruby has them, cheese, avocado, pasta parcels, green beans, carrots etc.

My floor looks like a bomb has hit it all the time, it is gross!!

Woopster-I started giving my daughter shredded cheese too. Good protein and she loves the mild cheddar, it's so tiny it goes down easy.  I thought it was a good start to beginning finger foods.  She also loved getting frozen/cooked peas.  Again, they're tiny and good for her!
