How to start the EASY method??
« on: March 17, 2006, 20:22:56 pm »
Hello, I am new here! I have a 2 month old baby boy and I am very interested in trying the EASY method with him... but how do I go about starting? What can I expect when I start this?

Any information would be appreciated!
Erin

Hi, Peeran!  So glad to have you on the BW boards.  I just answered some questions to another mom of a 2 mo dd.  If you'd like, take this link to the thread and see if any of it helps you.  Some of the concerns may not pertain to your situation, so please post more detailed questions and we'll try to help.  If non of it helps you, please let me know.  Best wishes!

Hello, we started EASY at 10 weeks.  I waited till she had a good nap and I ended it at one of the eating times.  Then I stuck with the schedule from there.  Except for the night feedings which I just fed for less and less time and then stopped feeding then.  Amazingly she took to it really well.  It did take about 10 days for her to fall asleep on her own in the crib cause she was used to napping in the papoose on dh.

Let us know if you have any more questions, Good luck, Tarri
