Finger Food - Chicken

We are starting chicken tomorrow for first time - but want to start as finger food, not puree. Would you suggest boiling some white meat pieces and then giving her small bits mushed up a bit with my fingers? Or baking? Help!

Boiling keeps the chicken moister. I would boil then cut into small peices. Good Luck!

the first time i gave dd chicken i did so in soup - there is a great recipe in annabel karmel's cookbook or you can just make regular old chicken soup with a bit of celery carrots, etc, etc. just an idea!

I did in plain water. Boil about 10-15 minutes and check for doneness. If needed, boil longer.

If you do boil the chicken add veggies so that the chicken is not as strong on taste. Veggies will dilute the taste a bit for your LO. You can than use stock at later date for another receipe.
Chicken can be hard to take if it is a first taste by giving it by itself.
You could mince chicken , add carrots & apple (grated) roll into very small burger. Carrot and apple will sweeten it a bit. Coat little flour and cook in frying pan with tiny amount of olive oil. Very tasty nuggets. I also add onion and garlic but for first taste you don't need too.
