So now we are back from the doctors , tired and sleeping
We aimed today for E every 3 hours and it almost was as is. So LO woke up 6 this morning, eat and the fall back asleep. Yeah. Then he eat 9, took a nap and I woke him up 12 to eat because we had to go to the doctors at 1p.m. So he eat and I really hoped he will fall asleep on our ride to the hospital but no such a luck, he was still awake when we arrived and started to fuss. No wonder he was tired and wanted to sleep but everything was too stimulating for him. He started to cry very hard and I BF him about 1 to calm him down(hopefully it was not bad??) It helped a little, got out from there about 2.30, and until we got home he took tiny nap. Eat again 3 , did not do any A time and calmed him down put him to sleep. So hopefully we are good now.
Now I am trying to figure out, what to do about evening. I am thinking E 6, bath but then? little A time and little feed at 7? or catnap and feed at 8. But I am not sure how he will fall asleep for catnap?  Any suggestions?? ???

What time does he usually go to bed?  Some people do what is called a cluster feed, which means they feed the baby a little closer than every three hours before bed to fill them up so they sleep a little longer for their first stretch of bedtime sleep.  So, for example, you could feed him at 6, a little A time a short nap, a bath, feed at 8 and put him to bed.  By feeding him 2 hours apart for these last 2 feeds, his tummy is a little fuller.  It is ok to feed right before going to bed at night as long as you try to keep him from falling asleep while he is eating.  For the catnap, it is ok for the baby to sleep anywhere they want, it won't ruin all of your attempts to get him to sleep in his own bed for his other sleeps.  Our baby doesn't fall asleep many places anymore except his crib but once in a while will take him for a car ride during cat nap time and he will fall asleep in his car seat or for a walk and he will fall asleep in his stroller.  Let us know how your evening goes - it sounds like you handled your day beautifully!  Well done  ;D

At the end it went like this. he slept until I woke him up 6. Got him to eat about 6.15 and then time just fled by. He took his bath 7.15 and went to bed about 7.30, probably was up too long. woke up 9 I fed him and now he is sleeping again. Just cannot figure out how to get him to take catnap, seems it takes too long for him to fall asleep and then its time to get up already :-\
