Question about W2S - how many times should you go in?
« on: May 25, 2006, 22:54:55 pm »
I've been using wake to sleep with great success over the past 3 days. My DS (5.5 mos) mainly took 40 minute naps, but in reviewing my log, they are sometimes shorter and sometimes longer. I've been gonig in at the 25 minute mark and getting him to stir, then leaving the room. Then I go in again in another 25 minutes. Should I need to go in twice, or does once typically get me to the 1.5 hour nap? When I've gone in twice I have been getting 1.5 hour naps, but am not sure if I'm doing more work than I have to.

Thanks Stacy - one more question...is 25 minutes too late? Today I got one 1.5 hour nap and one 40 min nap. I'm not sure why he woke up after 40 min but he wasn't going back to sleep. What is the danger in going in too early - that I'll just reset his nap timetable from an earlier mark and have to go in more frequently?
