9 mth old will not nap all of a sudden
« on: June 12, 2006, 22:40:47 pm »
Hi there. I am totally boggled. Gage has been sleeping on his own for some time now, and now all of sudden it is taking 30- 1hr to fall asleep for the first nap and bombing the second. We have just got rid of the swaddle and he was sleeping fine until the last week. He just rolls around, sitting up, and farting around. I have posted our routine in the EASY forum to see if they could spot something, but so far everyone has said that his A times look good.

To make a long story short, I thought I would post here to see if there is some 9 mth nap transition I should know about or if the new mobility is contributing to this prob. I have tried la onger wind down, putting him to bed ealier and later, and nothing seems to work. Any advice?

Motility can defnitely lead to nap issues - when Marisa first learned to roll that happened, when she first started pulling up, etc. Let me have a look though at your routine in the Easy forum and I'll post there as well.
