Won't take dream feed.
« on: June 26, 2006, 15:07:13 pm »
Hi, we just started this whole process two days ago and already we have seen a vast improvement. Last night Alec slept for 8 hours straight, and this morning he just took a two hour nap and slept for most of the time, only waking up and crying twice, a vast improvement over before, when he wouldn't take any naps at all.
One question I have now is about the dream feed. We have tried to do it for the past two nights now, and Alec just doesn't drink anything when we put the bottle in his mouth. He takes two sucks and that is it. Any recommendations on how to get him to take his dream feed without disturbing him too much? Thanks.

if he is sleeping for an 8 hour stretch i wouldnt try to push the df as this may make him start waking more, my ds wakes 2 times a night now and started waking 3 to 4 times with the df sounds like he is doing pretty well without it.

I agree, if it isn't broke don't fix it.
