Hi everyone,
I have a problem with Bradleys naps, he is almost 1 and I just cant seem to get it right at the minute. He always gets tired around 4pm, if I let him have a nap even a short one, I cant get hime to sleep until 9-10pm, if I keep him awake, which is so hard, he literally passes out at about 6pm but then he wakes at 6am (he is one of these that sleeps for exactly 12 hours). Until a few months ago he was asleep by 7.30pm which was brilliant.
His day looks like this:
6-7am Wake and bottle
7.30 Breakfast
8.30 Kiddikare/babygroup/swimming
11.30 finish morning activity, then go home
11.45 - noon lunch
12.30-1.45 nap
4.30 tea
5.30-6 Bath
Then bottle and bed
I know every morning he is busy, he goes into child care 3 mornings as I work, he never sleeps there, the other 2 days we got to baby group which he loves as he does swimming. I have tried not going out in the morning and putting him down for a nap, but he just isnt tired until after lunch, he wont sleep before. After his nap we usually play, read, or we go to friends houses, we are in a military environment so there are lots of us in the same boat so we take it in turns to have everyone over. Is he getting to much stimulation? How can I get him to sleep in the morning if he just isnt tired?
