Has anyone done the wake to sleep, for a lonnnnng period, before their baby can put themselves back to sleep?  I have heard to do it for 5 days to 2 weeks.  I have been doing w2s for awhile now.  There are times I hear that she puts herself back to sleep, but not very often.  I have not stopped the w2s yet.  I feel if I do, she will not be able to go back to sleep.  Anyone else in this position?

Thanks.

Back when my dd was taking 3 naps I had to do it and it seemed like forever, I think it was at least 2 weeks solid. Got to the point I was afraid not to do it! I think my problem was that I was only doing it for the first nap and not the others (I wanted the first one to be the longest nap as I wanted us to go out in the afternoon). Now, 5 months later, the first nap is always her best one and she'd sleep for 2 hours if I didn't wake her!

I am still experimenting with the w2s...  yesterday it worked wonderfully but today it was a total flop!  I guess we just keep trying !! :)
