I had to laugh when you asked if she has a lovey. I'm suprised there's room for her in her crib! She share her crib with Lambchop (2 of them at the moment), Bluepup and her Lilly-dog beanie baby (yes, they are all named and, sorry, Purpie is in the wash right now!). She also has about 6 pacis scattered around her crib so she doesn't have to go far to find one.
She has been teething and I think it's bugging her a bit. She's also getting pretty good at standing - although she still always holds on. Not sure how much of an impact all that could be having since she's always struggled sleeping from midnight to 7am. I guess this is an improvement since we don't have to go replug or feed her. Just wondering if there was something more we could do. I did give her a small feed around 5am a few nights ago and she slept soundly from 5am to 7am-ish. But I just can't believe that she needs an overnight feed at 10MO and about 23 pounds.
FYI - She was on antibiotics for about 3 weeks and she slept like a dream! I thought we'd finally reached the promised land! I was so thankful that it finally happened. It's amazing what a good night of sleep actually feels like! But, alas, the antibiotics were over and so were our good nights of sleep. Oh how I miss them...
And Jessica, you missed the entire job drama. I left my employer to take a job out of state. Both DH and I really wanted to move, but he'd be here for 6-12 months and I'd be there. We couldn't figure out how what to do with Katie cuz neither of us wanted to be apart from her. Let me restate that...neither of us could be apart from her for any length of time and neither of us was eager to become a "single" parent either. So, I ended up turning down the new job - on the day I was supposed to start it. I still feel like a complete @ss about it, but it was the only thing to do and it was such a compressed time-frame. So, now I'm totally unemployed! A bit scarey but it'll only be for a short while. I've already had 2 unsolicited offers in the last week.
