will I ever be able to leave my house?!?

My 3 month old LO refuses to sleep anywhere besides his crib (I know, I could have bigger problems However, it is making life difficult because he can't stay up for more than an hour before needing to nap again (he's BF every 2.5-3 hrs) so after I finish feeding him, I maybe have 30 minutes to get basic errands done outside of the house. We get halfway through our grocery shopping and he just looses it - screams and screams until I get him home and in the crib. It's making life difficult because my husband and I feel like we can't go anywhere without a meltdown. Is there any way to get him to learn to nap in his carseat? Will he outgrow this?

Yup - been here!

Yes it will get better, but most likely because his A times will increase.  In a month or so he will be doing 2 hour A times and a world of opportunity will open!  I know that seems like a life time away - but this period is very short in the whole scheme of things.  DH and I would just take turns shopping, or doing whatever else, each week.  I think it's important to respect the fact that he can't handle being out for now, and try to find another way around it

At least he is sleeping! 

It gets better, hang in there!

Thanks! That's what I figured. Ah well,  grocery shopping was never my favorite thing anyway
