My 6 month old has only been weaned for 2 weeks but I 'd like to give her something to chew on mid feeds - is there anything organic, wheat, dairy and sugar free I can give her? or is that too much to ask?

is there a risk of choking? or do they suck them until they are soft! I feel I should know what I'm doing as a paediatric nurse but very little advise given from health visitor!

At this age the only thing i gave in regards to snacks is teething biscuits. At this age a snack is not really needed as their milk is still very important for them.

I still don't really give B any snacks.  He has three bottles and three meals so he doesn't really need one.  Sometimes when E is having his snack before bath if B is really cranky I will give him a rusk but no other snacks.
