I posted a few days ago about my 4mth old who only naps for 30 min at a time (and always has done). It was suggested I increase his awake time to 2hours which I have done and this has certainly helped with getting him down for the first nap (thanks!) - this now typically is taking between 5-10 min of s/p. But I still can't get him beyond 30 min. I try to get him straight back down when he wakes but have only succeeded once with this and have to admit it was on me rather than in his cot and took 50 min to achieve a further 20 min out of him. What can I do to get him past the 30 min? Also what happens to the rest of his routine when he wakes after the 30 min? Do I need to try wake to sleep and if so when would I do this with a 30 min napper, the only advice I can find is for a 45 min napper - I'd be so grateful for 45 minutes! I'd be grateful for any advice as I'm going a bit nuts over this napping issue!
