I too am impressed!!!
My LLL breastfeeding answer book (at 600+ pages) says pre-mature milk babies often fall into two patterns. Feeding virtually continuously for several hours or "Frequent breastfeeding for ten minutes at a feeding...around the clock" (P.26)
(P.27) "Not feeling full encourages the baby to nurse frequently, which assures that the baby gets the colostrum he needs. Frequent nursing helps to establish a good milk supply early on, as well as providing a variety of health benefits"
It all sounds good. You can't judge by wet nappies at this stage too much as quantities are so small but by around day 3-4 you should start to see a transition to greenish, lighter transitional poo. By 5th day like breastfed baby poo.
new little one nurses pretty vigorously
She sounds a pro!
